1 port Slave coaxial cable network unit is a HUA-NETAtheros 6400 /7400 chip scheme EOC (Ethernet over Coax) Slave which can be networking with Master coaxial cable terminal (Master). They can build Layer-2 Ethernet transmit network through cable television coaxial cable and meanwhile have no influence on the pre-existing CATV signal transmit.
1 port Slave provides four 100M full-duplex Ethernet interfaces that can be simultaneously connected to terminals such as computer, set-top box of digital television, IP phone, etc. It supports QoS set up and can provide corresponding transmit guarantee of priority level for data stream of different service types. It supports bandwidth control. Maximum Uplink bandwidth of every 1 port Slave can be set up in order to prevent the attack to the whole coaxial transmit network when devices of other customer premises network go wrong or artificial attack happens. Encrypted transmit is also available to satisfy the service need of high reliability.
